Business Developer Worldline is on the lookout for an ambitious Business Developer with a robust network in the travel industry, including stakeholders from Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), travel agencies, car rental companies, and cruise lines. We seek a highly motivated professional with extensive expertise in the payments sector encompassing card-present transactions, e-commerce, payment gateways, acquiring, and issuingspecifically Virtual Credit Cards (VCCs). In this global role, you will leverage your strategic mindset and relationship-building skills to drive business growth while working remotely and traveling as necessary. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a business development strategy to expand Worldlines presence within the travel sector. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential clients. This includes upselling and cross-selling additional services. Utilize your established network within OTAs, travel agencies, car rental services, and cruise lines to uncover and create new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, product development, and payment operations to create tailored solutions. Develop and implement account strategies to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with internal teams to align services with client needs. Keep abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements in the travel and payments industries. Represent Worldline at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to bolster brand visibility and partnerships. Who Are We Looking For? We are searching for results-driven and well-connected individuals who can thrive in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will possess: A proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management within the travel sector. An established network of key decision-makers in OTAs, travel agencies, car rental companies, and cruise lines. In-depth knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including card-present transactions, e-commerce, acquiring, issuing (VCCs), and payment gateways. Proficiency in navigating complex B2B sales cycles and negotiations. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus. An entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated attitude, and goal-oriented approach. A willingness to travel as needed across Europe and beyond.
