Freelance Mobile Network Site Engineer
My client is working on a large project where theyre switching private mobile networks over to new suppliers, for this theyre looking for a site engineer to join their team.
Role Responsibilities:
-This role involves preparing the construction of new mobile sites and ensuring correct and optimal execution.
-Strong execution of site preparation and planning.
-Regularly communicating with various external stakeholders, including the operator, architects and more.
-You conduct site visits together with a Radio Engineer to investigate the future location. Based on your findings, you have prepared a site survey report.
-You translate the design from the Radio Engineer into a quotation, taking into account various factors (feasibility, budget analysis).
-After client approval, you start the work. You collaborate with the Construction Engineer and ensure the correct and timely execution of the work by your own teams and subcontractors.
-You ensure that all materials are ordered on time and keep all documentation up to date in the information systems and later in the as-built dossier.
-You guarantee successful delivery and acceptance of the site by the operator and site owner. You manage the P&L of the site and make corrections or adjustments if necessary.
Candidate Criteria.
-You have a background in electrical and/or technical education.
-You have already worked as a site coordinator.
-You are familiar with preparing quotations, realistic planning and estimates, and functionally directing the technicians.
-Experience in the telecom or mobile sector? This is considered a bonus.
-You are perfectly fluent in English, supplemented with knowledge of Dutch or French.
-You are flexible in terms of location, as you regularly visit sites spread across Belgium. You work one day a week from the office in Antwerp.
