Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toSenior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will convert customer orders for Medium Voltage switchgear into drawings and BOMs that comply with customer requirements. Daily, you will engage in technical discussions with customers at various project stages to ensure timely execution, adhering to order specifications, quality, and safety guidelines. The work model for this role is: #LI-Onsite. This position contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine.You will be mainly responsible for:Leading technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.Supporting project managers with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.Selecting appropriate electrical equipment.Assisting customers in resolving technical issues and addressing questions regarding the product.Developing management and communication skills by collaborating with operations and quality departments.Qualifications for the roleBachelor''s degree and/or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Control, Automation, or similar relevant studies.Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical distribution, working as a project engineer with medium voltage switchgear.In-depth knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, EPlan, AutoCAD, and the Office suite.Intermediate English proficiency (both written and spoken).Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.High self-motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn about new technologies.Collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication skills both written and spoken.More about usABB''s Distribution Solutions Division facilitates efficient and reliable power distribution, protection, and control by improving electric power quality and grid resilience.
