There is a full time opportunity in the Human Resources Department for a Benefits and Compensation Administrator reporting to the National Benefits and Compensation Manager. The following responsibilities and qualifications are required:**Benefits**:- Proactively communicate Team Member benefit eligibility and conduct education sessions regarding Benefit plans and processes- Process enrolments, changes, and terminations of Group Health and Dental Plans and Provincial Health Care Programs- Respond to Team Member inquiries relating to benefits programs, guidelines and policies including liaising between insurance carriers and plan participants- Administer benefit payment process for Team Members on LOA, including arrears- Coordinate and administer the Group RRSP and DPSP Program, including processing applications, changes, terminations, etc. to provider- Ensure benefits are administered in accordance with plan documents, company policies and legislative requirements.Compensation:- Complete weekly alignment reports for internal business teams- Provide guidelines and direction on compensation recommendations for positions at corporate and retail levels- Complete external market salary surveys- Compile salary survey data, complete reports on relevant data- Assist with merit and bonus plan communication, eligibility and calculations- Monitor and work with Payroll and Operations teams on minimum wage requirements across Canada, working with National Benefits and Compensation Manager to create proposed cost modeling- Monitor pay equity requirements- Complete employment verifications as required- Update and input into HRIS as required
