Systems Engineer Duration: 1 year (extendable) Location: Belgium About the Role We are hiring a Systems Engineer to support our client, a leading defense technology company known for its cutting-edge innovations in advanced systems and engineering solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact defense projects, working on state-of-the-art systems that shape the future of defense technology. Key Responsibilities Analyze and formalize system requirements to guide design and development. Oversee system verification and validation to ensure performance and compliance. Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools for requirements management and system modeling. Develop and update engineering specifications and reference documents. Conduct Functional System Analysis and assess Operational Safety . Create system models using SysML , including activity diagrams, usage diagrams, and sequence diagrams. Stay updated on ISO 15288 and INCOSE recommendations to ensure compliance. Prepare and present engineering insights to internal and external stakeholders, with occasional travel abroad. Who We''re Looking For Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics). 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering within an industrial environment. Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams . Willingness to travel occasionally for short-term international assignments. Preferred Skills Experience with IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, and Matlab Simulink . Previous work in the Defense or Aerospace industry.
