THE ROLE:
The General Manager for Germany will be responsible for spearheading expansion and strategic redevelopment within the region. This position transcends traditional sales management; it is about leading the subsidiary to achieve new levels of success. Potential progression to Country Manager based on a successful track record is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will report directly to the company''s CEO, making this a prime opportunity to influence growth, turn around the regional business, and contribute significantly to global success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base in key sectors such as mold & die, aerospace components, and general machining.
- Lead and scale operations within the German subsidiary, identifying new business opportunities and niches for advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to support sustained business growth.
- Communicate effectively the value proposition through proposals and presentations to a diverse audience.
- Stay informed on industry trends and shifts, adjusting strategies to navigate market changes.
- Opportunity to advance to the role of Country Manager, driving overall business success in the region.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven executive experience in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in sectors like CNC Milling Machines or similar high-value technical products.
- Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
- Experienced in selling high-value technical products and solutions to industrial sectors such as mold & die, aerospace, and general machining.
- Technical background with a deep understanding of CNC milling technologies and applications.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is required.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally.
