Job Description:
Our client is an international alternatives investment company with a strong track record and ambitious development plans in Switzerland. As part of the Asset Management Investor Relations team, we seek a dynamic and proficient German speaker with a solid background in alternative investments to join our Swiss based team.
Skills:
- Proven track record in fundraising with other asset managers focusing on alternative investments.
- Thorough knowledge of the market at the senior level. Financial institutions like pension funds, Insurance companies, FOs, Private banks etc
- Financial background. Knowledge of the financial markets, macro environment, and expected trends.
- Knowledge of the different asset classes. Liquid products (fixed income) and alternatives (PE, Infra, VC, RE)
- Ability to develop close and solid relationships with potential investors over time, with the ability to transform them into clients of the firm.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Represent the firm in the assigned geography to cover the entire market in the different asset classes it is focused on: Private Equity, Venture Capital, infrastructure, Real Estate and Credit investments.
- As a Senior Investor Relations Manager, you will participate in marketing and client-servicing activities within the Private Investment space.
- Sales oriented skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and collaborating with various teams for RFP processes.
- Coordinating, editing, and managing the distribution of investor reports and communications with the support of the Middle Office.
- Organizing webinars and investor events.
- Originating new clients and mandates and assisting the client servicing team with the onboarding.
Profile:
- University degree in Finance or Economics.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in Private Markets.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in German and English; French or Spanish a plus.
- Must be a resident of Switzerland or willing to relocate.
