Delivery Manager is a key business and technical leader responsible for managing delivery, governance and people for a Solution developed by several agile teams. The ultimate goal of the Delivery Manager is to align business needs with the IT development and operation processes of large scale IT solutions.
The Delivery Manager has the E2E responsibility for the complete life cycle of the product delivery, playing a key role in helping the teams to deliver value. Responsible for development process planning, conducting management reviews, and problem-solving. Active and continuous involvement throughout development lifecycle by Delivery Manager can be a determining factor in the success of the teams.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
- You will be the IT Delivery Lead who guides the teams to the appropriate outcomes.
- Optimize Development Lifecycle processes based on delivery metrics
- Provide input to backlog refinement activities to align the business and IT needs.
- Understand and help to specify that business objectives are comprehended and agreed by key stakeholders.
- Prepare development status for portfolio review, including Milestones and significant external dependencies.
- People management responsibilities (> 30 FTE).
- Budget responsibilities.
All the achievements you are proud of:
- More than 3 years of management experience in IT environments and in leading large teams (>20 FTE)
- Have more than 2 years of experience in cloud / IT Solutions/ business transformation
- More than 3 years of experience in agile environments, Full SAFe is an advantage
- Transformation of delivery units
- Management skills (budgets, KPIs, soft skills, etc.)
- Communication, negotiation & presentation skills
- Agile Mindset & Caring performance
- Medium level of General IT Overview
- Advanced level of Software Development
- Experience working in international, multi-cultural environment.
- Level of English: at least at B2 level. German language would be considered as an advantage.
