Our product is a structured, all-in-one presentation and collaboration platform that uses the learning by teaching method as a core pedagogical and assessment tool. We are passionate about creating a positive impact and are looking for visionaries bring this idea to life.
We are currently working with a startup facilitator Frank and the Backs'' in the Hague, Netherlands.
Your Role: We are looking for a CTO as the lead the developer of our performance-based assessment platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the entire technical infrastructure.
- Lead the technical development of the MVP (full-stack)
- Choose and implement the tech stack
- Build core features: content editor, teacher dashboard, collaboration tools, user roles, and feedback systems
- Integrate with external tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Manage a dev team post-MVP

Responsibilities :
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the technology strategy, design scalable and secure architecture, and monitor system performance
- Product Development: Lead product development, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership, make key decisions on technology stack, and guide the engineering team
- Innovation and Research: Implement innovative technologies, stay updated on industry trends, and foster a culture of innovation
- Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality and reliability through effective testing and QA processes
- Scalability and Performance: Plan for infrastructure scalability and performance to accommodate growth
- Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure data privacy compliance
- Team Building and Management: Recruit, build, and manage a high-performing technology team
- Communication: Communicate the technical vision to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with co-founders
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the technology budget and allocate resources to meet project milestones
- Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve technical challenges, and manage intellectual property
