The Business Transformation Journey area in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) focuses on providing a wide range of financial services (incl. Risk management) to large corporates, institutions and corporate banks (Tier I and Tier II) to enrich their service portfolio for their business growth and revenue enhancement purposes.
We are currently looking for a Banking Business Consultant to join our Corporate & Investment Banking practice in Madrid, specializing in Capital Markets. Our presence in Global Teams will cover all competences that are relevant to transform business units and to adapt to new regulatory and industry/business trends and requirements, developing new offering according to our client priorities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our mission.
As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
- Understanding the End-to-End service, transformation of business operating models and enhancing digital solutions with a Global point of view.
- Working across functions and geographies to secure stakeholder needs and expectations. Reports key KPIs to Senior Management.
- Working on validations throughout each stage of product implementation. Direct participation in the unitary testing.
- Integrated management through coordination and oversight across all teams at the risk level.
- Oversees and leads business assessments AS IS - TO BE from a business perspective for new financial instruments.
What are we looking for?
Specific requirements:
- University degree/double degree (Business Management, Finance, Law, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field would be an advantage).
- Master in Business Consulting, Quantitative Finance
- Professional experience in Business Consulting and/or Financial Services.
- Desirable certified FRM or CFA by GARP Global Association of Risk Professional.
- (Extensive) Experience in digital transformation initiatives and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, etc.).
- Experience in Global Markets and Risk Management transformation initiatives in Banking sector.
- Project management on different initiatives covering E2E transformation on Treasury and Capital Markets, desirable knowledge of Risks programs FRTB SA and IMA.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; other languages advantageous.
- Software: Microsoft Office advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint; desirable knowledge of Murex, Bloomberg, SQL, Python and Jira.

What will be your role?
- Support our clients within the Corporate and Investment Banking (primarily in the areas of Risks and Global markets) understanding as to Front To Back to Risk service with a Global point of view for production systems.
- Coordinate and lead meetings with the client, including communication between the different areas involved in the project (business, technology, etc.).
- End-to-end project management in terms of project planning, managing deadlines, resources, tasks, and action plans.
- Document the project lifecycle: from analysis to end-customer guides.
