Aufgaben

We search CEO and CTO candidates for the new Startup company CHoNova AG in the field of production improvement in the chocolate industry, later to be expanded to other (food) industries in which production optimization, particularly in the area of energy and quality management, is of high importance.

Qualifikation

The successful candidates should have relevant and proven experience either in business administration and marketing or in industrial production in the food industry and be interested in developing and managing CHoNova AG together with the founders. The successful candidates should be capable of and be interested in leading positions (CEO / CTO) in CHoNova AG, in close collaboration with the involved Expertinova partners. Your ambition should be to develop a rapidly growing and profitable company and to identify and develop new application and business areas.

CHoNova AG has exclusive access to patent-protected technology and devices developed within ETH Zrich research projects in close collaboration with ZHAW and various chocolate producers. Leading industry partners in the field already tested technology prototypes in their production facilities and expressed high interest in the developed device- and IT-solution, once the company is ready to deliver the required sensors and services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Ideally, the successful candidates have either:

• Proven experience as CEO or in another leadership position, with a master''s degree in business administration or related fields, and have a clear affinity for food production technologies.
• As potential CTO candidates, proven hands-on experience in food production and in optimizing and rationalizing production processes, with a solid engineering background and detailed knowledge in measurement technologies and IT, especially in the chocolate or related food industries.

Additional Qualities

In addition, the successful candidates should:

• Have an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Be familiar with various business functions such as marketing, PR, and finance.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to interact professionally with potential customers and have marketing and sales skills.
