Mantell Associates is currently partnered with one ofthe most innovative CDMO organisation who are searching for aSenior DSP Technician to join their team. Senior DSP Technician -Responsibilities: - Execute and oversee downstream processingoperations, including chromatography, filtration (TFF/UF/DF),centrifugation, and buffer exchange according to SOPs and batchrecords. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related topurification systems and equipment, escalating as needed toengineering or QA. - Maintain accurate documentation of batchrecords, logbooks, deviations, and change controls in compliancewith GMP standards. - Train and mentor junior DSP technicians,fostering knowledge-sharing and promoting best practices. - Performroutine calibration, maintenance, and cleaning of DSP equipment andmaintain the facility in audit-ready condition. - Assist in processdevelopment and scale-up activities, collaborating with R&D andprocess engineering teams. - Support tech transfer activities fornew products and process changes from development to manufacturing.- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies,contributing to a safe and compliant work environment. Senior DSPTechnician Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Biotechnology,Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field; relevant industrycertifications or extensive experience may be considered in lieu. -Minimum of 5 years experience in downstream processing within aGMP-regulated biopharmaceutical or life sciences environment. -Proficiency in chromatography systems (e.g., KTA systems), TFFsystems, and other purification technologies. - Strong knowledge ofGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance standards (FDA, EMA, ICH). -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the abilityto troubleshoot equipment and process issues independently. -Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, forcross-functional collaboration and documentation. - Attention todetail and strong organizational abilities, capable of managingmultiple tasks under strict timelines.
