We are seeking an International Tax Analyst reporting to the Tax Director, within the wider Finance organization for Applus Corporate HQ.
The ideal candidate will have excellent digital and project management skills, a general ambition/ willingness to grow their technological skills and support the Group in developing a data-driven and future-proof vision on our tax technology strategy.
The work you will do:
- Support regions with all tax matters related to cross-border operations & transfer pricing regulations, with the support of local teams and advisors.
- Supervise reporting of the key figures in tax and track the compliance status. Local teams and/or advisors responsible for all preparation and filings.
- Supervise the development of any Tax Audits handled at a local level.
- Support process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiency of the compliance process handled at a local level.
- Partner with business leaders, tax, finance, treasury, legal, and external advisers on various business initiatives to coordinate and compile data for modelling in relation to tax structuring.
The qualifications you need:
- Business proficient communication skills in English & Spanish.
- Passion for technology. Ready and able to learn new IT skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Tools, including high level experience of Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or related field.
- 3+Years of relevant professional experience within global multinational and/or public accounting.
- Familiar with tax accounting and international tax issues relevant to position.
- Detail oriented, and a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and ability to effectively communicate recommendations regarding tax issues to all stakeholders.
