Location Overview:Join our team in Aman Venice. The employee is primarily responsible for computing, recording, collecting, analysing, and verifying numerical data for maintaining the accounting records of the hotels financial operations. The employee will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will work in a fast-paced environment.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate daily with every department to organize purchasing.Control Purchase Order vs Invoice daily before input into the system and also verify item quantities fiscally.Record suppliers and corporate invoices and verify billing input.Control electronic support system to download purchase invoices.Code invoices to the proper General Ledger account number, ensuring all backups are attached as per Aman procedures. Research discrepancies and update payment requests from suppliers.Produce offers for new items.Find new suppliers to reduce costs.Process supplier payments.Conduct monthly inventory counts.Supervise passive and warehouse accounting to manage monthly inventory.Reconcile weekly assigned cost accounts.Prepare and input journal entries into the general ledger.Prepare monthly accruals with supporting documents for closure, covering all departmental costs.Support monthly management reporting and budgeting, and intercompany invoicing.Supervise accounting payable processes.Monitor and control supplier contracts and assist in drafting new agreements.Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.Knowledge of USALI accounting standards.Strong organizational and communication skills.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.Positive, engaging, and energetic personality.Excellent organization and time management skills.High attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure with various stakeholders.Proficiency in Excel.Knowledge of Dynamic 365 BC system is a plus.Benefits:At Aman Group, our colleagues are at the core of our success.
