And that''s where you come in.AccountabilitiesSupport and coordinate during the bid and project development of the technical design of systemDefine the conceptual solution of Equipment Integration on vehiclesPrepare system requirements specifications of mechanical systemsAnalyze Suppliers'' technical proposalsCheck the technical description of the systemVerify drawings/documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation/integration on boardCheck FEM analysis reportsPerform tolerance concept & analysis for equipment integrationPrepare/verify performance test specificationsSupport during system type testsAssist during onboard integration testsConduct design reviews with Clients and SuppliersRequired Skills/KnowledgeDegree in Mechanical EngineeringAt least 3 years of experience in the railway or mechanical industry as a Vehicle Engineer or mechanical integratorGood knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical schemes, bolted and riveted connectionsBasic knowledge of electrics and mechanicsProficiency in office automation software (Word, Excel, etc.)Knowledge of mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia) and IBM DOORSUnderstanding of Engineering Processes and Railway OperationsAbility to work effectively across all organizational levels, contributing constructivelyWillingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, international environmentAbility to work independently in teams and on projectsAvailability for short-term national and international travelDesired Skills/KnowledgeAbility to manage and plan tasks independently and in teamsAnalytical skills, problem-solving attitude, business process understandingAbility to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersStrong planning and organizational skillsAdaptability and eagerness to stay updated with industry trendsStrong business acumen and technical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfort working in an international, multicultural environmentEducation / QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.LanguagesProficiency in written and spoken English, at least B2 level.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
