Your Mission:
As Structured Finance Manager you will play a crucial role integrating financing, acquisitions, and project equity partnerships into our renewable energy projects on a global scale. Additionally, we aim to secure alternative and cost-effective funding solutions to strengthen our financial framework at both the group and subgroup levels within our operational territories.
What will you do?
- Financial Modelling and Analysis: Demonstrate proficiency in financial modelling, gain a deep understanding of various financing processes, and leverage this insight to guide the strategic financing direction of the company. Build and lead a modelling team.
- Analysis of Profitability for Renewal Projects: Validate operational inputs and tax treatment to assess operational cash flows, then define the best ad-hoc financial strategy for each project to increase asset value for shareholders.
- Execution of Financial Closings: Negotiate with a wide range of lenders, including Commercial Banks, Multilateral Banks, and Institutional Investors. The candidate must know how to implement different formats (Loan, Private Bond, and Public Bond).
- Relationship Building and Management: Establish, manage, and nurture enduring relationships with a diverse network of international and local investors, financial institutions, and technical, legal, and financial advisors, thereby solidifying RIC''s standing in the global financial ecosystem.
- Financial Closings: Lead the financial closing of corporate and project finance transactions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development, EPC, Legal, and other vital departments to ensure seamless process closure, aligning with company timelines.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, ensuring that appropriate strategies are implemented to minimize exposure to risk.
- Financial Innovation: Propose and develop new financial solutions and financing structures that can enhance the efficiency and profitability of projects.
What are we looking for?
- Do you have more than 5 years of experience in a Big Four firm, structured finance boutique, or the structured finance department of a bank, preferably in the renewable energy sector?
- Do you have experience in structured Project Finance , particularly within the renewable energy sector or similar industries?
- Do you have technical experience in Solar PV, Wind, Biogas , BESS and/or Hydrogen technologies?
- Are you able to manage relationships with all financial players such as banks, multilateral institutions, investment funds, pension funds?
- Do you have strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial modelling and a deep understanding of financing processes?
- Are you able to foster and maintain connections with stakeholders on a global scale ?
