Were seeking a dynamic and results-driven Direct Procurement Senior Category Manager to join our Global Procurement Team.The position:The successful candidate will support the Head of Direct Procurement in managing procurement activities related to direct goods and services within Alfasigma. Responsibilities include developing and implementing supplier and category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. The role involves collaborating with various departments to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.Key responsibilities:Category and Supplier Strategy: Develop and implement procurement plans, analyze market trends, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.Cost Management: Optimize costs through negotiations and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.Collaboration and Communication: Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs and communicate procurement policies effectively.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with laws and policies, and mitigate procurement risks.Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and monitor contracts.Data Analysis and Reporting: Use procurement data to track performance and inform decision-making.Requirements:Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Proven experience in direct procurement, managerial experience preferred.
