** YOUR MISSION ** WHAT WILL YOU DO? **
- Ensure that the plant operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
- Manage maintenance issues and delegate resources to the right skills in the team or external resources as required.
- Provide support to engineering project team as required.
- Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities.
- Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems.
- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spent combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
- Support the process of the installation of new machinery and equipment and drawing up the specifications.
- Undertake continuous training and self-development and team-development.
- Provide technical expertise to the team.
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
- Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.

- Apprenticeship/Education in a mechanical and/or electrical discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, legislative standards, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

- Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
- Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills
