Are you an expert in seabed and subsea mapping, comfortable running ROV surveys in deep water and ensuring pinpoint positioning for complex offshore builds? Were seeking a Hydrographic Surveyor to lead both surface and subsea survey operations while delivering high-accuracy data that drives safe, efficient offshore construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct surface and subsea positioning surveys (including ROV) in water depths up to 3,000 m+.
- Manage hardware/software setups, calibrations, and real-time troubleshooting to ensure data integrity.
- Process and validate raw data to produce precise seabed and subsea-infrastructure maps and position reports.
- Ensure all surveys meet industry requirements for accuracy, safety, and quality.
- Collaborate with installation/decommissioning teams to define survey scopes and integration points.
- Support project teams with survey planning, logistics, and deliverable handover both onshore and offshore.
What Youll Bring
- BSc or MSc in Hydrography (CATA), Geomatics, Geodesy, Geophysics, Survey Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven track record in seabed and subsea mapping for offshore construction.
- Strong hands-on experience with survey hardware, GIS tools, ROV survey methods, and positioning systems.
- Proficiency in processing, validating, and delivering hydrographic datasets.
- Familiarity with offshore survey accuracy standards and safety procedures.
- Excellent English (written spoken); able to work seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams.
