Greenvolt is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the correct design of Greenvolt projects'' footprint in Europe. This role involves actively participating in the design supervision and creation of large-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar PV and onshore wind systems.
Key accountabilities
- Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements and design.- Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers (Pre-Executive design and design) and BOP Contractors.- Support the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers- Support the definition, preparation and control the documentation to be able to start timely a construction of the renewable energy project- Under coordination with procurement department, to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers- Support scheduling project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost-effective construction of photovoltaic or wind farm- Support the supervision and control that during the design phase the Building Permit requirements are respected.- Analise the layouts and reports from the resource department and propose possible upgrades.- Support coordinating internal information flow within Development Team, Legal, Procurement, HSE & Quality- Support managing and control of technical /Time Schedule /H&S/Quality issues during design process- Collaborate during construction process and provide solutions to construction design problems appear, in coordination with the BOP company
Qualifications
- Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer)- Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly from PV and wind farm (Utility scale) construction- Familiarity with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants and high voltage lines and substations.- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.- Strong negotiation and analytical skills- Proactivity, autonomy and strong capability to anticipate and capability solutions- Availability to travel around Europe, in all areas where projects are.
