Graduate Program Junior Data Analyst

We are looking for a graduate student in the field of Biotechnology/Bioinformatics, Data Science or a related discipline, who is searching for a challenging early career position in our innovative company. This role is part of our Future Career Graduate Program which consists in 1 year project-based contract.
Graduate Project
The Schachen Biotech Process Automation team is providing a strategic link between our early and late-stage pipeline and responsible to develop and maintain a Line of Sight between the stages.
The
Data Analyst Graduate Project will consist in creating an innovative solution for finding and visualizing correlations between multiple sets and levels of real production process and analytical data. Implementation of PowerBI dashboards for visualization of real time data, focused on representing the key process parameters, key metrics and visualization of out-of-range values for the batches or campaigns. As an extended implementation, creating PowerBI Dashboards to represent a contextualized real time data from SAP (Bill Of Materials, Bill Of Parameters, Inventory) and MES data (Parameter Value Lists) for an overview and possible de-bottlenecking of the Batch/Campaign running.
This will also include working with intelligent automation solutions using AWS and Azure cloud capabilities and tooling, implementation of Power BI dashboards representing the process data and as well possibility of implementation of machine learning algorithms as well as Python or R programming.
As a graduate you should bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following
- Collaborating with various business teams in an international setting to generate business understanding and identifying relevant data sources.
- Assess the process and analytical data, collect, clean, and interpret the data available.
- Prepare data for analysis and representation in PowerBI Dashboards.
- Providing a fresh perspective within the department your opinion matters.
- Participate and actively learn about Digital Transformation initiatives involving system integrations, data connectivity and value-based optimization of manufacturing via process supporting analyzation.
The above-mentioned responsibilities are an indication of what you will be doing after proper onboarding and initial learning and development. This provides you with the opportunity to learn and hereafter perform tasks independently. In consultation with your supervisor or peers, you could take on additional tasks and responsibilities.
What Skills You Will Need
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have
- A graduate student in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Data Science.
- Passionate about Process Data Science and Data Analysis.
- Proven experience in bioprocess engineering, analytical methods, and process data interpretation.
- Basic knowledge in Python and/or R.
- Basic knowledge in Power BI, Databricks, or Dataiku is preferred but not required.
- You are searching for a program where you have the freedom to take initiative.
- Effective oral / written communication skills in English.
