Procurement Specialist Logistics & R&D
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage a diverse indirect purchasing portfolio, including logistics, transportation, and Proto Parts project support. In this role, you will collaborate with Supply Chain Management, R&D teams, and Logistics Engineers to ensure seamless procurement and material availability for key projects.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement activities related to logistics, transportation, warehousing, and customs duties.
- Manage external purchasing for Proto Parts and R&D projects, ensuring timely sourcing and stock management.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers while negotiating pricing, lead times, and contracts.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supplier relationships for improved efficiency.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, R&D, and Logistics teams to meet project goals.
- Be part of a team of 5 buyers and 4 procurement support professionals.
- Ensure supplier quality and logistical performance align with company standards.
What You Bring:
- 2-3 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Background in engineering (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, independent, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with external suppliers.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
