Build and lead a top-tier engineering team, working closely with designers, data scientists, and project managers to ensure all product components integrate seamlessly.
Oversee development of hardware and software solutions built for rugged environments, ensuring reliability, simplicity, and ease of deployment.
Guide prototypes through rigorous field testing, gather real-world feedback, and iterate rapidly to ensure products perform under challenging conditions.
Ensure all products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards for market deployment, preparing for large-scale production and rapid implementation.
Collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and other partners to align our solutions with real-world needs, ensuring our technology serves those who need it most.
Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to efficiently bring concepts to life without compromising on quality or impact
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of hardware and software development experience with a proven track record of bringing products to market, ideally in IoT, rugged tech, or similar.
Strong experience managing the entire product lifecycle, with a focus on mission-critical, high-stakes applications.
Ability to think on your feet, with a knack for creating solutions that are durable, efficient, and practical in complex field conditions.
Passion for humanitarian work and an unwavering commitment to building products that make a positive, lasting impact.
Skilled communicator with the ability to motivate, lead, and develop a dedicated technical team.
Direct experience with disaster response, humanitarian aid, or similar sectors is highly valued.
Self-starter with a proactive, flexible approach to challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
