As ICT Service Engineer, youll keep the ICT infrastructure up to date and help our users where needed. Youll ensure that you colleagues can concentrate on their tasks with a minimum of ICT-worries, supported by the right tools. Together with your team, you contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal ICT tools & services, by implementing the latest ICT technologies.
YOUR ROLE
As our ICT Service Engineer, you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining and upgrading the existing ICT infrastructure: servers, network, firewalls, security and end-user devices (laptops, meeting rooms equipment, printing devices).
- Support the Vynckeneers on the use of the above-mentioned user infrastructure and the related software. You keep security in mind for every task or question that you participate in.
- Keep yourself up to date with the newest technologies and implement improvements for an optimal end user experience.
- Analyze recurring problems & requests on a global level and find ways to prevent them.
- Be a part of our global ICT Team of 8 colleagues, reporting to the ICT Manager.
ABOUT YOU
We imagine our ideal candidate would:
- Have a bachelors degree in ICT, with a few years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Windows (server), Active Directory, Networking & Firewall, Office 365, Intune, Azure, and so on.
- Be eager to learn and keep up with the latest ICT trends.
- Actively communicate with demanding users to define their needs and understand their questions.
- Have a hands-on approach, creative and pro-active. You love helping people and tackling problems with common sense in a structured way.
- Be fluent in English, as youll be part of an international team.
