Innovation, continuous research, digitalisation, and sustainability are the pillars of its business worldwide.PositionWe are looking for an: Electro-avionics System Installation DesignerSite: Pomigliano / Venegono SuperioreResponsibilitiesDesign of electro-avionics systems installation, including electrical power, communication, lights, navigation, and self-protection systems, using CAD models and 2D drawings.Analyze requirements from aircraft specifications, system specifications, and interface control documents.Allocate space for equipment and main routings, contributing to the aircraft digital mock-up.Create stressed layouts for sizing shelves, racks, supports for equipment and system components.Assess installability and maintainability of the designed installations.Define interfaces and boundaries with partners.Release detailed drawings for shelves, racks, electrical boxes, supports, and brackets.Release assembly and installation drawings.Develop harness routing drawings.Revise 3D models and 2D drawings during aircraft assembly and testing.Main OutputsCatia V5 3D modelsCatia V5 2D drawings or Model Based DesignParts list with materials, standard parts, processes, finishes, and installation notesMain InterfacesAvionic and electrical system designersStructure designersStress analystsElectrical designersAir vehicle technology specialistsOperations teamPartner designersQualificationsBachelor''s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering.Experience LevelJunior, 0-3 years of experience.RequirementsKnowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and processes.Basic knowledge of electrical schemes.Preferred experience in CAD modeling for aerospace.Desired AttitudesProblem solving skills.Good communication and stakeholder interfacing skills.Teamwork attitude.Ability to work under pressure.Flexibility and adaptability.Proactivity.Proficiency in English (B2 level).Additional InformationAvailability for travel outside Italy.
