As European Industrial Director, you will be the conductor of all industrial operations across our network of 60 plants throughout Europe. Reporting to Group Executive Management, you will be responsible for overall performance, industrial innovation, and competitiveness in the European region. Your strategic vision and inspiring leadership will make all the difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and embody the European industrial strategy
Develop, implement, and adjust the groups industrial roadmap for Europe, in line with growth, innovation, and profitability objectives.
Your ability to anticipate European market trends and turn challenges into opportunities will be decisive.
Manage and unite European industrial teams
Lead a network of plant directors and operational managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and engagement.
Your interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence will enable you to mobilize and motivate multicultural teams, even remotely.
Standardize and optimize industrial processes
Harmonize methods, share best practices, and ensure operational consistency across the entire European scope.
Your analytical mindset and organizational rigor will guarantee efficiency and quality at all sites.
Drive performance and continuous improvement
Implement relevant performance indicators (KPIs), analyze results, and deploy continuous improvement plans (Lean, digitalization, automation) for each site.

Manage resources and industrial investments
Optimize the allocation of human, material, and financial resources at the European level, and participate in defining industrial investments and expansion projects.

Ensure compliance with European and international standards (ISO, IATF, safety, environment), lead audits, and supervise corrective action plans.

Support sites during critical situations (incidents, supply chain disruptions, quality issues) and lead industrial transformation plans.

Profile Sought: Your Keys to Success
Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in managing multi-site industrial operations, ideally in the automotive or heavy industry sector, with a European dimension.
Natural leadership, ability to unite and inspire multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Strong results orientation, innovative mindset, and a passion for challenges.
Mastery of industrial management tools (ERP, MES, BI) and continuous improvement methods.
In-depth knowledge of European and international industrial standards and regulations in the automotive sector.
Fluent English required; proficiency in other European languages is a major asset.
European mobility and willingness to travel frequently.
