Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Website Tester. The Website Tester will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of websites to identify and resolve bugs, usability issues, and other performance-related concerns. Day-to-day tasks will include developing and executing test plans, documenting test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure website quality and functionality.
Qualifications
- Experience in testing websites, including functional, usability, and performance testing
- Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Skills in identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and defects
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing effective collaboration with development teams
- Certifications in software testing or related fields are a plus
- Experience with automated testing tools is beneficial
