**Job Description:** **Airbus Helicopters** is lookingfor a * Composite parts laboratories and test center responsible*(f/m)* to join our company based in * Paris le Bourget, France.**Within Airbus Helicopters Rotor systems Analysis department (55persons), a vacancy for ground tests and tests resourcesresponsible located at Paris Le Bourget site has arisen. The roleof this test responsible will be to manage a team of five peoplededicated to maintaining test resources and carrying out testsrequested for the support of the serial composite parts productionand the certification/development of new composite parts (blades,hub, fenestron ...) of the whole Airbus Helicopters fleet. Thisactivity represents a workload of 20000 hours of testing and themanagement of 11 fatigue test benches and following of 3 productionmain rotor whirltower. You will work directly on the critical partsof the rotors in a high-tech environment, over the life cycle ofthe products. Wherever possible, we foster flexible workingarrangements to stimulate innovative thinking. *Tasks &accountabilities* Your main tasks & responsibilities willinclude: - The operational management (coordination and animation)of a team dedicated to tests activities - The performance andachievement (OTM/OTC/OTQ) of all activities within the Laboratoryand Test Center perimeter: Structural tests, Mechanical tests,Integrated Labs, on all Airbus Helicopters Programs and R&T. -The End-to-End project management of the laboratory investigations,failure analysis and tests by defining the priorities, balances theworkload and ensures the coordination and synchronization of theactivities - To provide Validated results and expertise on themechanical behavior of helicopters composite dynamic components -To ensure the Transfer of Work from Donauworth to Paris Le Bourgetfor the scope of composite dynamic parts test capability andcapacity. - To ensure Laboratory and Testing Capabilities(Facilities, Test Rigs, Dummies, Load introduction parts, Jacks...) and related Control Systems including: - Subcontractingactivities follow up in test tooling design - Maintenance of thetest equipment park (with logistics), annual budget, associated ITresources and CAPEX management (investments in new benches) -Activities on the production main rotor whirltower: design, sizing,maintenance and launch in manufacturing of interface tools forblade adjustment - To ensure Measurement Capabilities (Straingauges, Load cells, Stereo Correlation, Acoustic Camera, PhotoElasticity, Laser trackers, Traxx system (tension measurement inbolts), etc...). - To ensure the strain gauges equipment andcalibration of fatigue test components. - To provide serial orprototype blades with strain gauges equipment used during flightcampaigns to measure loads. * Your profile : * You will have thefollowing skills and experience: * Educated to 5 years'' degreelevel (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering * 5 to 10 years ofexperience in mechanics * Good relationship and team management (atleast 2/3 years) * At least 2 years of experience in mechanicalTesting. * Mechanical skills, RDM, composite and metallic materials* Validation of test measurements * Test means design and build *Test means operation and maintenance * Fatigue/Static testexperience * Certification Knowledge * Good english level inreading/speaking/writing * A Negotiation level in French isrequired This position requires a security clearance or willrequire being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.Not a 100% match?
