Job description:
- Be the owner of the quality of the products delivered to our customer through dimensional, visual and/or non-destructive control
- Coordinate/conduct non-destructive control activity to warrant the conformity of our equipment (penetrant testing, radiography, PMI) as well as the follow-up of the welding consumables
- Proactively be the point of contact with the production to clarify customer needs and develop the quality culture
- Release the needed reports depending on the conformity (release note) or non-conformity report.
- Prioritize actions to ensure the best operational performance of the production workshop
- Be a force for proposals to find the best solution to resolve any encountered quality issue
- Ensure that the procedures in place are well applied
Required profile:
- Experienced and rigorous in dimensional/visual control
- Penetrant testing certified (COFREND level2 at the minimum PT2)
- Excellent communication skills especially with the shop workers
- Fluency in French and sufficient English level to handle a technical conversation with a customer
- Good organization skills and management of priorities
- Good knowledge of manufacturing process, assembly by welding or mechanical connection and material
- IWT or IWE certification
- Previous experience in oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of international code such as ASME, PED as well as European directives (ATEX, Machinery)
- Experience in painting control (FROSIO)
