At G + D, leaders in Smartcards and Secure Payment elements, we are looking for a Purchaser to join our company.
Your Responsibilities and day-to-day:
- Assist the Purchasing team with communication across suppliers and internal departments.
- Engage with new suppliers, request samples, and maintain relationships.
- Negotiate rates and terms for purchases, both new and existing.
- Analyze supplier proposals, RFPs, and procurement data; manage Purchase Orders.
- Maintain and update price lists and supplier records.
- Support international awards and draft/refine procurement processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive area modernization.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a Purchasing Team, ideally in a production company
- Greater than 3 years of work experience in an international environment.
- Familiar with subcontracting and international supplier management
- Multidisciplinary approach and have experience in indirect procurement.
- Knowledge in developing negotiating local contractual or SLA terms with vendors
- MS Office proficient, knowledge in SAP
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Proactive thinker with excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
- Team player with proven ability to successfully manage projects and resolve conflicts
