As a CNC Machinist, you will support the production of machined parts in our new CNC workshop. In coordination with the machining workshop manager, you will be responsible for CNC machines, CNC program creation, raw material procurement, quality control, and workshop management.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free parking.
What is the role?
- Create CNC programs directly on the machines, implement these programs, and monitor production.
- Work independently with one CNC milling machine and one CNC lathe.
- Support the production of machined parts for our innovation department and new assembly lines: loading and unloading machines.
- Check parts after machining and keep quality reports up to date.
- Manage the workshop: supply of raw materials and consumables, maintenance of machines.
Does this sound like you?
- You have education in CNC machining or programming.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in CNC workshop and programming.
- You are autonomous with CNC milling and turning machines; experience with MAZAK machines is a plus.
- You are familiar with machining stainless steel, plastics such as PP, PE, POM, PVDF, and others.
- You show self-initiative and creativity; you are flexible and able to work under pressure.
- English proficiency for daily business; knowledge of German, French, or other languages is an advantage.
- You are an EU or Swiss citizen or hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.
