Our customer, an international company in Rotterdam, headquartered in Japan, is the worlds leading manufacturer of vehicle components. Currently, they are looking for an Assistant Quality, Sales & Purchasing who looks after the customers and suppliers in Europe.
It would be ideal if you have some work experience in a quality role and would like to expand to sales- and purchasing operation area. Without it, you will acquire all necessary skills throughout the job. With a small team from Rotterdam, you will work globally!
Job Description:
Quality Assisting Duties (50%):
- Composing and submitting quality related documents
- Dealing with customer PPAP requests
- Monthly inspection of supplier samples
- Implementing organisation tools to record data (database, quality matrix etc)
- Assisting with solving customer quality concerns/claims/general requests
- Assisting with day to day tasks related to quality and engineering
- Assisting with supplier management and problem solving
- Assisting with improving the structure of the quality department/data server
Sales/Purchasing Assisting Duties (50%):
- Deal with quotations for customers and suppliers
- Sales and purchase price control, updating calculation documents to reflect the costs of raw material and transport
- Liaising with customers and suppliers, must be willing to take trips within Liaising and support with relevant departments within the company such as logistics department
- Make monthly sales reports of the company
Requirement:
- Bachelor (HBO) or similar
- Work permit holder in the Netherlands
- Living in Rotterdam or surroundings
- Must be fluent in English spoken and written
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (excel & Outlook essential)
- Must have good organisation and communication skills
- Engineering knowledge is a plus but not essential
