With over 30 years of expertise, they specialize in IT and space services, supporting Earth observation missions, satellite data processing, and applied research.Responsibilities:Design and develop complex interfaces for multi-system integration, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.Implement data processing and transformation pipelines for Earth Observation workflows.Develop and maintain back-end services using PL/pgSQL, Java, and Python.Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and transformation.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software for high availability.Develop shell scripts for Linux automation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software deployment and system integration.Requirements:3+ years experience in multi-system interface development.Strong data processing and transformation skills.Proficiency in PL/pgSQL, Java, and Python.Experience with Linux OS and shell scripting.Ability to troubleshoot and improve software reliability.Strong SQL query writing skills.Excellent English communication skills (B2+).Nice to Have:Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.Familiarity with PostgreSQL, XML/XSD, EO data products, ETL procedures, Nagios, or similar tools.Personal Skills:Proactive, solution-driven, and accountable.Excellent team and customer liaison skills.Curious, innovative, and willing to travel within Europe.Additional Info:Work location: Rome, hybrid mode.Competitive benefits, international projects, career growth opportunities.Applicants must meet EU work permit requirements: EU Citizens or non-EU citizens with valid EU work permits.We review CVs carefully and will contact suitable candidates.
