YOUR ROLE As Business Development (BD)Manager, you will be responsible for seeking and building customerrelationships with a focus within the E-commerce andConsumer/Retail sector. You will provide advice to customers onCEVA services with a focus on CEVA''s 3PL services, of course. Youare part of the team of Business Development Managers and in thisposition, you report to the Sector Lead C&R and E-commerce. Youhave a lot of contact with all layers in our organization andadditionally external customers. You work closely with the SolutionDesign Managers for Contract Logistics and Transport with regard toproposals towards customers. You will be stationed in Willebroek(Belgium), but we work with a healthy mix between working remotelyand working at the head office (Zaltbommel, The Netherlands) or onsite. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? You are a real ''self-starter'' andbuild your customer portfolio with dedication. You maintainrelationships with potential and existing customers and proactivelygo to the market. Customers and colleagues will be happy to havecontact with you; you know what you are talking about. In the roleof business development manager, you are responsible for: -Spotting and identifying potential new CEVA Logistics customers andselling the CEVA portfolio to these new customers; - Gatheringinformation and understanding customer demand; - Analyzinginformation and preparing (financial) business cases; - Determiningthe feasibility, risks, costs and possible revenues of anacquisition; - Managing the project team and (having) solutions andmodels figured out; - Drawing up offers, following them up, inorder to conclude contracts; - Analyzing the effectiveness, leveland quality of services in the implementation and operationalphase; - Ensuring full handover to internal colleagues who will beinvolved in the follow-up process and implementation. WHAT ARE WELOOKING FOR? You are commercially driven and have a winnersmentality. With your strong personality and knowledge of ourproduct, you enjoy making a success of our sales process. You feelcomfortable within a large international organization and showcourage. You bring the following knowledge with you: - A relevantcompleted Bachelor or Master Degree, in the direction of Logistics,Business Administration, ed; - At least 6 years'' experience withina warehouse environment; - At least 2 years'' experience in asimilar position within the E-commerce / Consumer Retail sector isa requirement; - Excellent command of MS Office; - Excellentwritten and oral expression skills in both Dutch and Englishlanguages. - Good ability to switch between a helicopter view andzooming in on details.
