Job Description
Junior Consolidation
Purpose of the Position
Support and assist the monthly closure activities and complete consolidation activities required for the month end closure and Group Reporting packs. Ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS. Contribute to the preparation of Group financial statements, tax reporting, and compliance processes. Collaborate with regional finance teams and support external audit activities. Coordinate tax reporting, planning and compliance with regional teams and support the local Regional Finance teams in all accounting matters.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the coordination of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the intercompany reconciliation process and booking of consolidation entries.
- Contribute to the preparation of IFRS 16 accounting and closure processes.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of consolidated financial statements, including disclosures.
- Support external audit processes by providing documentation and analysis.
- Contribute to tax reporting, planning, and compliance in collaboration with regional teams.
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
- Conduct ad-hoc accounting analyses and support updates to the Group Accounting Manual.
- Collaborate on accounting and tax process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Experience
- University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, consolidation or as auditing, ideally in a Big 4 audit firm;
- IFRS principles knowledge;
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial applications is a plus;
Attitude and Skills
- SAP and SAP BPC knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
