Your ResponsibilityIdentify prospective projects with suitable solar resource, electric transmission access, and site characteristicsCreate and manage project development budgets and estimatesEstablish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including elected officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs, and community leaders, to support project developmentNegotiation and manage of Developers ContractsWork with internal resources, such as the Legal, Engineering, Project Finance and EPC teamsObtain land surface rights to design, permit, construct, operate, and maintain solar power projectsManage state, federal, and regional permitting of solar facilitiesParticipate in interconnection agreement negotiationsManage environmental studiesOversee the preparation of proposals that are submitted to utilitiesSupport the financial analysis and modeling of the projectProvide reports to management by producing regular and frequent pipeline updates, project status updates, and other reporting documentsResearch energy market and competition on an ongoing basisCommunicate information continuously and effectively to cross-functional teamOur RequirementsBachelors degree in Business, Laws, Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.10+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in the energy industry.Team player with effective communication skills.Pro-active, hands-on and driven.Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred.English fluency required.Must be willing and able to travel, both domestically and internationally.
