We''re looking for a Costing Specialist to join our company.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the definition and maintenance of the competitive Cost/Pricing System for NGI products/services, analyzing and managing the customer''s requests for quotation; in compliance with company rules and objectives, current legislation (national and international), contractual terms and company and group policies.
The position is located in Pomezia (RM).
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes together with the Proposal Team (IPT) the Customer''s request for quotation (RFQ) and supports the same in the proposal definition phase, carrying out industrial cost and margin analysis of the overall offer.
- Supports the team in the negotiation phase with the customer by carrying out simulations and changes to the cost/price analysis, reprocessing the data in order to ensure the best definition of the price of the order.
- Participates in the drafting/meeting of the RACS/Gate Review with Division and/or Sector. It takes care of the preparation of the Risk Plan through the calculation of the program cash flow and the profitability of future contracts and sub-contracts in relation to prices, appropriate protections (coverage/insurance) and payment terms.
- In coordination with the various company functions involved and in line with company models and procedures, it builds and maintains the cost model of NGI products on the basis of the evolution of the costs of materials and the manufacturing processes of the product, ensuring the best cost/effectiveness ratio by interfacing with the bodies that directly contribute to the company''s costs.
- With the Finance and Contracts functions, it defines and proposes the revision of prices for contracts and subcontracts subject to this clause, also through a Market analysis. It helps to structure and maintain the processes related to the generation of offers and the subsequent management of orders.
- It analyzes, prepares and coordinates with the support of Finance, the preparatory work necessary for the negotiation with the Defense Administration of the company hourly rate in compliance with the methodology established by SEGREDIFESA.
- Provides support for Congruity Analyses; Coordinates the pricing meeting at IPT and General Management level, providing support to the subsequent approval steps (Internal/Division/Sector)
- It ensures that information is managed with the correct level of security assigned.
Job Requirements:
Master''s Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
Postgraduate training or specific certifications (e.g., MBA, CIMA, or specialization courses in financial management and management control) are a plus.
Experience in:
Minimum 4 years'' experience in the same or similar role as management control or pricing in manufacturing companies, preferably in regulated sectors such as defense, aerospace or high-tech.
