Azure Solution Architect 12 Months+ Freelance Brussels/Remote
Our client is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and deployment of their next-generation Pricing platform on Microsoft Azure.
This is a one-year project with mostly remote work, where youll take charge of transforming the architecture to meet stringent audit, security, and performance standards all while supporting cutting-edge innovation.
What Youll Do
As the Senior Solution Architect, youll be at the forefront of shaping a secure, scalable, and future-ready cloud environment. Your role will include:
- Architecting the Future: Design and evolve a robust Azure-based platform that aligns with business goals, audit findings, and industry best practices.
- Cloud Security & Governance: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), RBAC, and DTAP environments to enhance security, compliance, and deployment hygiene.
- Optimizing for Scale: Drive cost efficiency, resource optimization, and performance improvements across the Azure environment.
- Automation & CI/CD: Lead the push for automated deployment pipelines, reducing manual steps and increasing release velocity.
- Data & AI Integration: Support AI and machine learning initiatives with technologies like Azure Databricks and Elasticsearch.
- Compliance & Monitoring: Put in place governance frameworks, regulatory controls, and centralized monitoring to ensure reliability and transparency.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Solution Architecture, with at least 5 years of hands-on Azure experience.
- Proven background in cloud security, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI-powered pricing, ML models, and tools like Azure Databricks and Elasticsearch is a bonus
- Strong communication and leadership skills to align stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- English fluent speaker
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or TOGAF are a bonus.
