We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Head of IT (IT Corporate / German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Solothurn or Bern Canton (depending on candidate preference).Your Role: Oversee the personnel management & coaching of employees (People Lifecycle Management). Plan, control & develop the department in collaboration with HR regarding all central topics, such as employee development, target agreement, change management, motivation, planning, budget, costs, resources, etc. Adhere to & exemplify company values, corporate culture & internal rules. Carry out information management & communication within the department & with other departments. Hold operational & financial responsibility for subordinate departments as well as their optimization & further development. Develop the basis for decision-making & continuous reporting to the department & management. Further develop, plan & implement the area/department strategy. Align goals & bring those responsible for achieving the goals in line with the strategy. Develop & optimize work processes. Undertake project management for overall projects & sub-projects in the area / department. Ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Support other (cross-functional) departments. Ensure & further develop services. Initiate & prioritize projects in collaboration with different divisional units, taking into account the relevant strategies & framework conditions.Your Skills: At least 3 years of professional Management experience in IT Environments. At least 3 years of experience in Project & Process Management. Preferably experienced in large companies & in simultaneously Leading Multiple Team Leaders & Teams. Ideally experienced in SAP environments (any experience in the areas of SAP HR, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors or SAP S/4 HANA will be considered very advantageous). Your Profile: Completed relevant University Degree. Further Trained in Business Administration or Leadership (or similar). Communicative, strong leadership skills & both customer & solution-oriented. Fluent English & business proficient German language skills are a mandatory requirement.
