Role: Business Information Security Office (BISO) Senior Security Specialist Europe
This role acts as the security interface and single point of contact (SPOC) for enterprise security within an assigned geographic region (GEO). You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping the business achieve its objectives while maintaining security standards and policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with GEO stakeholders to understand their business and balance security with regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating with the CISO and BISO team to align security practices and drive security transformations.
- Understanding key assets, evaluating risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Acting as a liaison between business leadership, Product Security, and Enterprise Security Teams, ensuring clear communication on security initiatives, risks, and improvements.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining the Information Security Program and supporting security strategy.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and contractual obligations.
- Serving as the primary local point of contact for security concerns and escalation.
- Engaging with clients and representing SITAs cybersecurity program at industry forums.
- Promoting security awareness and managing security risk, policy compliance, and data protection efforts.
- Providing regular security status reports and collaborating with incident response teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years in Cloud and Information Technology
- 7+ years in an Information Security role (architecture, technology)
- 5+ years in penetration testing, vulnerability management, and red team engagements
- Experience with Data Privacy regulations is a plus
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred
- Strong understanding of audit/risk management and regulatory requirements
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to communicate technical issues to business users
