Position Summary:
As Sr. Service Technician you will be charge of troubleshooting, repair and testing of our installed products, provide product support and to update/review work instructions. In this position you work closely with your Customer Service colleagues.
You will be occupied with the below activities:
- Receive and perform decontamination of returned injector systems, determine warranty status and configuration history, test and identify/verify reported failure mode.
- Obtain replacement parts as necessary, repair/replace components or sub-assemblies, perform system quality and performance testing to verify repairs.
- Update device history records, complaint records, and the inventory management system, prepare service and repair records for customer invoices.
- Install new software and updates hardware components as required.
- Perform/arrange system quality and performance testing to verify upgrades.
- Synchronize current product changes/issues into service and repair activities.
- Execute engineering change orders as needed.
- Translate product updates for the installed base into service and repair activities.
- Participate in improvement activities related to the process, documentation and material improvements.
- Compose service documents.
- Support Field Service Technicians in executing assignments; Subject Matter Expert.
- Assure adherence to the environmental, occupational health and safety management systems requirements e.g. ISO14001 and ISO 45001
- Assure adherence to the ISO13485 requirements and the ACIST Quality Management system, procedures and Work instructions.
Your background:
- Degree in Electronics vocational level.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an (international) technical environment.
- Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Preferably experience in the medical device industry.
- English language skills.
- High sense of responsibility, being pro-active and be able to work independently.
- Team player.
- Customer focused.
