We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior JavaScript Developer who is not only skilled in front-end development with a strong focus on React but also thrives on the challenge of navigating and improving complex, existing codebases. In addition you have to be passionate about coaching and mentoring younger team members. You will play a key role in shaping our development culture and empowering the next generation of developers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of modern, responsive, and scalable web applications using React.js.
- Provide hands-on technical coaching and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow their React and frontend skills.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment where knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement are encouraged.
- Work closely with product owners and developers to ensure the optimal user experience and high-quality software.
- Support the team in problem-solving and offer guidance on best practices in React development, including state management, testing, and architecture.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and bring new ideas to the table for team improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to help junior developers improve their coding skills.
- Help set up and refine frontend architecture and development processes to ensure scalability and maintainability.
What are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- You have at least +5 years of professional experience in front-end development, including a minimum of 3 years working with React.js.
- You have proven experience in mentoring or coaching junior developers in a technical environment.
- You have a significant amount of knowledge of front-end developments (React, Bootstrap, Typescript, JavaScript, SASS and CSS).
- Experience in creating and maintaining component libraries.
- Experience with 3D computer graphics, AR, Machine Leaning or Computer Vision is a bonus.
- You are sociable, flexible and communicative.
