Our client, a MedTech scale-up active in the Central Nervous System (CNS) space, is looking for a Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, cloud-based medical applications. As part of a growing team, youll play a key role in developing the companys proprietary platform focused on better clinical CNS development, contributing to both infrastructure and product development using modern DevOps and software best practices.
What youll do
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications with a focus on quality and security
- Build robust, scalable infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Implement and improve DevOps pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and automation
- Write clean, tested, and documented Python code
- Analyze performance and ensure reliability of cloud systems
- Collaborate with team members to create technical specifications and operational documentation
- Contribute to risk and reliability analyses and ensure compliance with medical-grade standards
- Optimize cloud architecture, monitor performance, and manage cloud cost
- Stay up to date on best practices in cloud security, scalability, and architecture
What were looking for
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or related field
- Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS)
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Proficient in Python and software testing
- Familiar with Git and version control workflows
- Knowledge of distributed systems, serverless architectures, APIs, and microservices
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset in regulated environments
- AWS Certification (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate)
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Linux
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or other CI/CD tools
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
