Are you an Engineering Director or Senior Management Professional with a background in AI and machine learning that is looking for a new role in a high growth scaling San Sebastian based team?
At European Tech Recruit we are working along side a high growth startup, helping them to bring on board a new Engineering Director. The team are developing a compute platform for high performance computing with a software utilizing real-time telemetry and intelligent algorithms to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability dynamically for HPC and AI workloads.
Technical Engineering Director:
- Reports directly to the CTO.
- Leads the execution and delivery of customer projects.
- Identifies customer needs to develop new intellectual property, enhancing company product offerings.
- Builds and oversees a high-performing team, managing talent allocation effectively.
- Contributes specialized technical expertise to the Tech team.
- Collaborates with other directors to identify and leverage cross-project synergies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Machine Learning, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in NLP, Large Language Models, or Deep Learning.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, both in-person and remotely.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
