Join us to be part of the RICANTO project team for the construction of the new EDF PEI power plant in Ajaccio. We are looking for an Piping Engineer.
The Specialist is responsible for managing the discipline activity and project team, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly implemented, and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contract review and specifications: Identify discrepancies and develop clarifications for the Discipline Lead Engineer and PEM. Prepare technical specifications and standards not included.
- Man-hour management and reporting: Monitor man-hours and report any issues to PEM.
- Meeting participation: Attend project and client meetings if required.
- Deliverables list and approval: Create deliverables list and approve all technical submissions.
- Document verification: Check subcontractor and vendor documentation.
- Interface management between teams: Facilitate communication between teams and the client.
- Support during project phases: Assist in procurement, construction, commissioning, and progress reporting.
- Quality control and compliance: Ensure quality procedures are followed and monitor design discrepancies.
- 3D model development and support: Collaborate on 3D model development and provide technical support during bidding.
Requirements:
- Piping Engineer with a minimum stay of 3-4 years in the role being able to preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project.
- Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Piping Engineering, 3D Model, stress Analysis, Layout and accurate competences of techniques and tools
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (French is a plus)
