With over 53,000 employees worldwide, the company has a solid industrial presence in Italy, the UK, Poland, the USA, and operates in 150 countries through subsidiaries, joint ventures, and partnerships.Within the Defense Business Area, we are seeking a Technician for Metrological and Technological Laboratory at our Brescia site.Job ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will perform laboratory tasks in metrology and technological laboratories, including calibration, control, and management of mechanical and electronic instrumentation. Responsibilities include checking and calibrating gauges and tools, managing laboratory equipment, analyzing technical documents and drawings, verifying documentation for testing, and organizing laboratory instrumentation for external calibrations.Technical Skills and ActivitiesThe role involves executing destructive and non-destructive tests, including mechanical, chemical, metallographic, salt fog, and various rubber tests, as well as process controls and calibration of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, goniometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).QualificationsDegree in Engineering (minimum three years), preferably in Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronics fields.Experience in similar roles is preferred.Skills and CompetenciesBasic knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and physical principles of measurement instrumentation.Ability to read technical drawings and documents.Problem-solving attitude and good organizational skills.Teamwork, communication, autonomy, initiative, adaptability, and motivation.Languages and IT SkillsGood command of English.Proficiency in Office applications; knowledge of SAP and PLM systems is a plus.Additional InformationLocation: Brescia, Italy (main), La Spezia - Valdilocchi (additional).Type: Permanent, full-time, in-office work.Seniority level: Entry level.#J-18808-Ljbffr
