The Role
We are looking for a Sales Co-ordinator to join our team in our Brussels office, which is in Diegem, Flanders.
The Sales Coordinator will provide SEWS-E product quotations and support the commercial activities of the SEWS-E Toyota Business, assisting the Toyota Sales Manager responsible for Toyota Motor Europe (TME) business. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Fully understand Toyota quotation standards both in Japan and Europe
- Fully understand the business rules with Toyota both in Japan and Europe
- Collect necessary cost and price information from Sumitomo Japan and within SEWS-E Group
- Create Toyota wire harness quotations by using the quotation system
- Respond to customer requests for quotations (RFQs) and design change from the initial enquiry through to the submission of prices using the procedures within the Sales Enquiry Team (SES), ensuring that all quotations include relevant SEWS-E SES reference
- Raise, monitor and maintain customer enquiry records for all enquiries
- Understand the cost effect of design changes in sufficient detail to be able to justify them to the customer
- Maintain price tracking documents on a monthly basis, including agreed price change adoption timing, design level and copper level
- Send confirmed order prices, notification of price changes and notification of any commercial terms to the finance department as required
- Purchase order acknowledgements (POA) to be sent to the customer
- Agreed order prices to be loaded onto the SEWS-E sales system in accordance with SES procedures
- Manage and control price information and support Toyota Account Manager for the annual price review with TME
- Collect necessary information and raise compensation claims to TME
- Collect necessary information and create tooling quotations to TME
- Support project development as a liaison with Japan
- Supporting TME during SEWS-E site visits and SPTT activities
- Any other comparable duties as requested by the Line Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Fluent English speaker
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, telephone etc
- High degree of flexibility and multi-taksing
- Basic communication in Japanese would be desirable
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office

- A degree of flexibility to travel to support meetings/reviews at SEWS-E and customer sites
