Engineering Manager - FMCG - Greater Brussels Area

Freelance Engineering Manager wanted for large Food company in Flanders. There are multiple ongoing projects however this company is looking to start a Masterplan for their new investment portfolio.

Start - June/July

Duration - 12 months

Freelance Contract

Location - Flanders

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coaching their Engineering and Project Management teams to achieve their performance goals and targets.

Your role will include creating the Masterplans and strategies as well as leading the investment agenda for the plant engineering activities and full responsibly for project management ensuring projects are delivered successful to the correct standards on time and in budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and support engineering and project management team (consultants and employees)
• For larger CAPEX projects take lead during the execution phases
• Develop engineering masterplans and strategies for future projects
• Coordinate with external stakeholders
• Implement and monitor technical strategy performance methods and KPI
• Strategic reporting into Director managerial levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
• Strong project management skills across budget, scope, planning, people management and engineering coordination
• Experience managing a portfolio of CAPEX Projects
• Experienced with Industrial and process projects within the Food/Pharma/Chemical/FMCG sector
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French is a plus
