Provide mainly VAT and customs support to Swiss and International Bobst Group affiliates to :
- Develop & maintain an environment which ensures compliance with all relevant Indirect Tax regulations (VAT; Customs; withholding taxes and other indirect taxes).
- Support Bobst affiliates in setting up appropriate compliant indirect tax and Customs structures.
- Participate in internal reorganizations and new systems configuration for proper indirect tax management.
- Develop and monitor a Global Indirect Tax Organization at the level of the affiliates.
- Promote good understanding and adherence of Indirect Tax principles, concepts and related processes throughout the whole organization.
- Ensure alignment and effective business partnering with key stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Logistics, Finance etc.).
Job Profile
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
- At least five years of relevant experience in working in an international and multicultural environment either in the industry or in an accounting firm.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills, ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and a general aptitude for quantitative analysis.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of VAT and customs concepts, including intercompany services, transfers of tangible goods, transfer of intellectual property and other financial transactions.
- Considerable knowledge of managing functional analyses interviews to identify, assess and document intercompany transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, fluent in French and German and / or Italian (a plus).
- Experience in project coordination and management and strong ability to communicate and influence accordingly at internal and external (mainly advisors) level.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to communicate internally.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and good financial analysis-modelling skills (a plus).
- Self-initiated and result-oriented with the ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
