Hays Life Sciences is looking for a motivated and adaptable Lab Scientist to join the Regulatory Bioanalysis team of a Multinational Biopharmaceutical company. The role is located in Walloon Brabant and work will be performed mainly on site due to laboratory work.
You will join a team involved in the validation and sample analysis of clinical trial samples using a variety of technologies, including LC-MS, MSD (LBA), and PCR. The role includes both hands-on lab work and non-laboratory tasks (e.g., documentation, compliance, data compilation). You will collaborate closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) and other lab-based scientists, contributing to multiple projects depending on the teams needs. The position requires good communication skills and the flexibility to interact with cross-functional teams, especially method development and QA colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sample analysis and validation for PK, ADA, and immunogenicity assays.
- Operate analytical platforms such as LC-MS, MSD (LBA), ELISA, and PCR.
- Support method transfer from other departments.
- Ensure compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
- Handle documentation, data compilation, and lab audit readiness.
- Work in coordination with PIs and adapt to shifting project needs.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including QA and method development teams.
Must-Have
- Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years of laboratory experience in bioanalytical sciences (e.g., PK, ADA assays).
- Practical expertise with LC-MS, MSD (Meso Scale Discovery), or ELISA platforms.
- GLP experience (GMP experience will also be considered but GLP is preferred).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to perform both lab-based and non-lab-based activities.
- Good adaptability, communication, and team integration skills.
- Bachelors degree with significant hands-on lab experience, or a Masters degree in Life Sciences or related field.
